Product Introduction
Plastic-Lined Pipes are steel-plastic composite pipes, where a steel pipe serves as the base and is lined internally with thermoplastic engineering plastics. Commonly used types of steel-plastic-lined pipes include: steel-lined polypropylene pipes (CS/PO), steel-lined polyethylene pipes (CS/PE), steel-lined ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene pipes (CS/UHMWPE), and steel-lined polyolefin pipes (CS/PP). The manufacturing process involves applying chemically and physically stable thermoplastic engineering plastics—such as PE, PO, and PP—onto the inner walls of steel pipes or steel fittings at high temperatures, using either rotational molding or tight-lining techniques. This creates a corrosion-resistant pipeline that combines the mechanical strength of steel with the excellent anti-corrosion, anti-aging, and non-scaling properties of plastic. As a result, these pipes feature outstanding characteristics like no delamination, superior corrosion protection, high impact resistance, excellent impermeability, a smooth and even inner plastic lining, minimal friction coefficient, and ease of installation. They are an exceptionally cost-effective solution for transporting corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, salts, and even highly corrosive gases. These pipes are widely employed across industries including environmental protection, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, chemical processing, power generation, metallurgy, and coke production.
Application Fields
★ Chemical Industry
The manufacturing industries of acids, bases, and salts, as well as sectors like fertilizers, pesticides, chemicals, rubber, and plastics, rely on process and discharge pipes designed to handle corrosive gases, liquids, and solid powders.
★ Electrical Engineering
Industrial water reuse and conveyance, chemical water treatment, waste residue transport, and fly ash handling.
★ Metallurgy Industry
The transportation of corrosive media in metal smelting.
★ Mining industry
Mineral powder, mineral slurry, slag, and tailings discharge, backfilling, ventilation, gas extraction, and grouting, among other activities.
★ Pharmaceutical industry
Transporting various corrosive media, sewage, and wastewater
★ Agricultural sprinkler irrigation
Deep well pipes, filter pipes, underground channel conveyance pipes, drainage pipes, and irrigation water supply pipes
★ Oilfield gas field
Oil-contaminated water, gas field wastewater, oil-gas mixtures, and pipelines used in oil production and gathering/transportation processes.
★ Municipal Industry
Urban infrastructure includes channels for water supply, potable water, fire protection water, district heating return water, gas and natural gas transmission, as well as underground drainage systems for highways and irrigation of green belts.
Product Superiority
★ Possesses excellent physical properties
It has the same mechanical strength as steel pipes.
★ Corrosion-resistant
Resistant to chemical corrosion, soil corrosion, and marine organism corrosion, as well as resistant to cathodic disbonding.
★ Climate-resistant
Suitable for harsh environments such as deserts and saline-alkali regions, offering one of the best aging lifespans among plastics.
★ Highly lubricating
The pipe walls are smooth, enhancing transportation efficiency and ensuring a long service life.
★ Easy to install
The installation process is mature, convenient, and quick.
★ Non-toxic
The inner wall is smooth, preventing scale buildup and inhibiting microbial growth, thus ensuring fluid quality.
